Building on the environmental initiatives cultivated by our former organizations (Marubeni Chemix and Marubeni Plax), we will continue these efforts while further advancing activities that contribute to a sustainable society, including across the supply chain.

Environmental Policy
In light of our global and wide-ranging activities, we recognize that solving environmental issues is a challenge. Through the operation of our environmental management system, we affirm that the preservation of the global environment is a fundamental policy guiding our corporate activities, products, and services.
Our business activities will be conducted with consideration of their possible impact on the environment. We will cooperate with stakeholders to conserve the environment, prevent pollution, and reduce potential environmental impacts. This includes the efficient use of resources, taking steps to address climate change, and protecting biodiversity and ecosystems.
1）Compliance with applicable international and local environmental guidelines, laws and regulations, and agreed requirements.
2）Taking necessary measures to reduce environmental impacts and prevent pollution, especially when launching new projects or modifying existing ones.
3）Facilitating resource and energy conservation (mineral resources, food and water, etc.), waste reduction, green procurement, and increases in operational efficiency.
4）Promoting business projects, offering products and services, technical development and building social systems that help protect and improve the environment.
In keeping with this environmental policy, the Marubeni Group’s Environmental Management System will be regularly reviewed to improve our environmental performance, with full awareness of the importance of complying with its requirements.
This Environmental Policy will be communicated to all officers and employees of the company and will also be made public.
